Cantilever Racking
For stock that will not sit on a pallet. Timber lengths, steel sections, pipe, sheet and board.
How cantilever racking works
Cantilever racking carries load on arms projecting from a central column. There is no front upright to work around, so a forklift or side loader places long stock straight onto the arms. Arm length, spacing and column height are set by the length, weight and deflection of what you store.
Configurations
- Single sided against a wall, or double sided down the centre of an aisle.
- Arms straight or inclined, with end stops where the load can roll.
- Timber or steel decking across arms where sheet and board are stored.
- Bolted or welded bases sized to resist the overturning moment at full arm load.

Send us your floor plan. We will send back a layout.
Tell us the footprint, the pallet type and the forklift you run. Our design team returns a racking layout with bay configuration and a costed option, usually within two business days.
