Raised Storage Areas
The cheapest square metre in your warehouse is the one above your head.
How a raised storage area works
A raised storage area, or mezzanine, is a structural floor built inside the warehouse envelope. It can sit on its own columns or be integrated into a racking system, with the upright frames carrying the deck. The result is usable floor added without relocating or extending the building.
What we design in
- Deck loading rated to the intended use, from light storage to plant and offices.
- Compliant stair access, handrail and kickplate, and a pallet gate or safety gate for loading.
- Column positions set around your existing racking runs and forklift paths.
- Fire, egress and building code requirements coordinated with your certifier.
